Hi Guys, long time no blog. This year is looking great very exciting and busy, i intend to shoot more portrait's this year in between my wedding shoots. Im a bit rusty :) so more outdoor portraits and studio shots help me to focus on my clients and their images, great for my bridal portraiture as well (coming soon watch this space).

In my area i have about five other photographers of various levels so competition is fierce and good for the soul. I was quietly chuffed with the two silvers and two bronze awards in January, but did not enter febs SWPP awards as i was busy :(

I shot this portrait session with Lorna at Bestwood Lodge, she was blown away as she is not a model just a client. It was bitter cold so i worked quickly AND MISSED LOT'S OF GREAT PICS AROUND THIS FABULOUS VENUE and i did the session in about an hour from arriving to leaving, i have uploaded a few images for viewing.

Entries for the monthly compettitions for 2011 are now open, my first entries went ok winning two SILVER and two Bronze..... "im happy with that as i have not entered anything for a while.

Welcome to my first blog of 2011 its been a fantastic year 2010 a year in which

i spent improoving this year is exciting and am 50% UP ON BOOKINGS for this year

so i guess im heading in the right direction.

Happy new year to every one, its a little late. A special hug to my Auntie Christine and Uncle Mick who send me a card every year and i always miss them..x

Over Christmas i was at the Lakeside Restaurant with Ian and Maureen, very cold but we made some fantastic images. A fantastic couple and i loved shooting their wedding. The SWPP had there Annual Convention early Jan, i had the privileged of attending Gordon Jovics Masterclass.

I am very busy this year and have a brilliant success booking rate, i want to thank all my Brides and Grooms of 2010 you were all gorgeous. In 2010 i spent time with NABBA the amatuer bodybuilding association and had a great experience photographing the Mr England and Mr uk events, A big thanx to Val and Jim for their help and faith.

"Well looking forword too this year AND PRODUCING MY BEST WORK GOT SOME AWSOME VENUES........ also i didnt push my portrait photography last year but this year is all go! i won over 20 awards last year with the SWPP not bad for a Notts Lad, enjoy a selection in this blog

"Well 2011 has arrived and a new year brings new oportunities", I have not blogged for a while but a lot of snow has gone under the bridge. I will catch up in my next blog and let you know what ive been up to.
